Learning point of the week.....use comments and replies to say what you have learnt. Best one gets chocolate as usual.....
Patient admitted following falling off their bike and being hit by a car.....
How are you going to assess him??
Turns out you do an ABCDE assessment:
B: RR 20/min, SpO2 95% on air, reduced air entry on Right side, trachea central
C: BP 140/75, Pulse 100
3 things to do immediately...(one we might query when we talk about it....)
1 thing to order urgently (or you could do another investigation if you are really trendy...)

More chocolate to be had for the best point of the week......
OK folks.......prize for "learning point of the week". Judged by me, no right to appeal if you don't agree with me. Almost certainly this will be food, so get your thinking caps on!!

The thing I learnt today was how to get the "extra wire" within the heart
